What water is like?
Is it salty,
Or is it sweet;
Is it blue,
Or is it white.
If you can answer,
Then you know love;
It is tasteless,
Yet it is the sweetest,
It is colourless,
Yet it is most coloured.
Some feel it,
Some taste it,
Yet some imagine it.
Water is same,
Whether of different land,
Country or world,
But still the land,
Render its own aroma.
You love someone,
Can you name it?
Crush, affection or infatuation,
Or some go for adoration,
But yet water is the same,
Just the aroma differs,
The perception differs,
The colour of light differs.

how can crush, infatuation, be the same as love? Love is deeper, from the purest depths of the heart, while the former are mere fancies of the mind. The intensity with which we feel them differs, but a thirsty man's craving for water is the same, everywhere
Anyway, the metaphor is impressive. Well chosen.
